Do I have to call the police?
Georgia requires reporting crashes involving injury, death or property damage of $500 or more.
Should I go to the doctor if I feel okay?
Yes. Some injuries show up later, and a prompt visit protects your health and your claim.
What should I photograph?
Both vehicles, the scene, signs and signals, skid marks, injuries and the other driver’s license and insurance card.
Can I move my car?
If it’s safe and no one is hurt, moving out of traffic is generally allowed and often required.
